Summer School Biomedical Imaging

The school is offered by EXCITE Zurich and teaches the basics of biomedical imaging and provides the context necessary to understand advances and current challenges in the field. Imaging techniques including optical microscopy, electron microscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography and X-ray imaging are introduced and discussed with a focus on multimodal and multiscale applications along with computer-aided image analysis and modeling. The school offers separate tracks for participants with backgrounds in life sciences and physical sciences.

Admission to the summer school, which is held during the first two weeks in September each year, is based on a review process of all applications and is highly competitive. Further information about the Summer School on Biomedical Imaging can be found here.
